Bountiful Acres began by focusing primarily on poultry and rabbits. We soon realized the chickens impact on the paddock range was extensive and needed soil disturbance to counter act the compaction that was occurring. Pigs are the natural solution to that issue. While rooting for minerals, fungus, tender roots they aerate the soil for new grass growth. In the process we finish out the growth cycle of the pig in order provide another source of local meat.
