Seasonal Updates and Special Sales

Hello friends and family of Bountiful Acres.
There are a few things happening on the ranch I thought you might want to know about.
 We will have chicken in the month of November! As summer is coming to a close we will be raising poultry into the fall & winter. As you know we are a small operation and I do sell out of chicken. Now would be the time to contact me to  ensure your order and receive the pre-purchase discount for the fall season. If you are a member of the Carnivore Club you can contact me in order to reserve your chicken. I also included an order of ducks for the holiday season. So if you would like to reserve a duck for Thanksgiving or Christmas be sure to reply to this email and let me know so we can make that happen!
As for our other products, the freezers have been refilled with a full selection of beef as well as our pork cuts to include bratwurst. Which happens to be my favorite product so I ordered extra sausages this time around. As you know you can always stop by and purchase here at the ranch. You can also find us at Old Town Leander Farmers Market. Our newest Farmers Market is in Lago Vista on Travisso Parkway in the Travisso neighborhood.

Sunday May 24th our newest partner Cob Hill Farms will be helping us put a Lime top coat on this well used oven. Your invited to be a part of the fun. There will be BBQ and refreshments.

We are in full spring flush with lots going on. The increase in demand has kept us busy and yet we are continuing to take pre-orders of chicken. As small animal ranch we still provide a selection of fresh chicken, rabbit and duck processed on site. Over the winter we began to use mother natures rototiller (pigs) to turn the chicken paddocks soil rejuvenating it and make it perfect to reseed with fresh greens for the chickens to than eat. My favorite part is we are now offering a selection of pork cuts processed by a local pork processor. (Bountiful Acres is not set up to process larger animals)

I look forward to seeing you at the Old Town Leander’s Farmers Market every Saturday morning rain or shine. This Saturday April 25 2020 there will be; Fresh Rabbit Whole or Cut up ; Pork sausage links and Thick Cut Pork Roasts and Chops.

We will be providing both whole and parted rabbit for your special meal or to try something new. Come by the Old Town Leander Farmers Market every Sat from 9-1.

Good morning Farmsters! It is a crispy morning and with the cooler weather comes the soup. Come on out to the farmers market this morning and enjoy the cooler temps and grab fresh healthy ingredients for some delicious nutritious meals this weekend.

This Sat. 5 Oct. Bountiful Acres will be featuring chicken packaged with lemon Basil or lemon Thyme. Isle Acres Farm provided the herbs that are infusing the chicken with even more delicious flavor.

We are back in full production and have all of your favorite chicken cuts as well as Whole banquet birds. Whole birds and leg quarters are on sale ($3 off) this Saturday as always at Smooth Village Farmers Market!

I hope everyone had a great 4th!  Come on down to the Lago Vista Farmer’s Market today from 10am to 2pm.  We will have select chicken available as well as frozen parted or whole rabbit.  We have a few dozen chicken eggs we will be bringing.  The summer heat is having an effect on our gals.  If you are interested in pre-ordering chicken or eggs, please see Roger and we can tell you how we can have an order waiting for you every week!
